Dr. Edelson is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in sports medicine. His practice includes a wide range of orthopaedic and sports injuries, focusing primarily on knee and shoulder injuries, and is especially skilled in arthroscopic surgery of knees and shoulders. Currently he is the team physician for the Portland Beavers (AAA team for the San Diego Padres) and provides orthopaedic support for Club Sport Athletic Club, as well as local high schools. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Meridian Association of Physicians (MAP) and provides orthopaedic consultation for Nike and Shriner’s Hospital. For recreation he enjoys golf, skiing and working out. He and his wife Jill have three children.
